Our Story - 30 plus years and counting... The name of our parent company is "Fresh Foods Corporation of America®".  It symbolizes our aspiration to expand and grow, while benchmarking success and quality in terms of our fresh-baked heritage and tradition. 

At Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies® we take a lot of pride in our heritage, dating back to the opening of the landmark Cyrus O’Leary’s Restaurant in downtown Spokane in 1981. The restaurant developed and introduced a gourmet line of fresh baked pies, which quickly became the talk of the town. In 1987, we established a separate plant to produce pies on a wholesale basis, with a strong commitment to the same made-from-scratch quality that had served Cyrus O’Leary’s Restaurant so well. Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies® is now the most popular brand of pie in the Inland Northwest.

The demand for Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies® has grown beyond the boundaries of the Inland Northwest, prompting us to develop a line of frozen pies in 1996. Prior to the introduction of our frozen line, we meticulously reviewed our tried and true formulations and adjusted them as necessary to meet the demanding conditions for a freeze-thaw stable product. Modifications were made by an experienced R & D team, lead by our own in-house bakery-science specialist to ensure that we never compromised on the quality associated with Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies®.

The finest ingredients available are used in Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies®. Only the best Grade-A fruit (primarily from the Pacific Northwest) is used in our fruit pies. Our crust is carefully mixed with a high percentage of shortening, resulting in our crust’s famous tender, light and flaky texture. You’ll instantly see a difference when you cut into our fruit pies — the fruit-to-filling ratio is off the chart!

The filling in our cream pies surpasses all others…again, it starts with our ingredients. You’ll definitely taste the Guittard® chocolate in our chocolate cream pie…and we know you’ll love the real Kahlua® liquor in our Kahlua® cream pie. All of our cream fillings are made with real eggs and whole milk, resulting in an unmistakably rich and creamy mouth-feel.

Once you try our turtle and cherry cheese pies (made with real Philadelphia Cream Cheese®), you’ll become a Cyrus O’Leary’s Pie® fan forever! All of these pies are topped with whipped topping that includes a blend of real cream, making them oh, so delicious!
